Trolling Time Charters LLC, which operates Lilly Ridge Resort and Blue Jay Charters ("we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website, booking system, or communicate with us.

Information We Collect

When you make a booking or contact us, we may collect:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Booking details (dates, party size, property, special requests)
  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)

How We Use Your Information

  • To process and manage your bookings
  • To send booking confirmations, reminders, and check-in details
  • To send text messages (SMS) if you have opted in
  • To process payments via Stripe
  • To improve our services and guest experience
  • To communicate with you about your stay or charter trip

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to booking texts during the booking process, Trolling Time Charters LLC (Lilly Ridge) may send you:

  • Booking confirmations
  • Pre-arrival reminders (7 days, 2 days, and day-of)
  • Check-in details and door codes

You opt in by ticking the booking-texts checkbox on our booking form. It is unchecked by default and separate from accepting these policies. If you book by phone, our staff ask before signing you up.

Offers for add-ons during your stay (firewood, ice, charter upgrades) are sent only if you also tick a second, separate offers checkbox on the cabin or package booking form. It is optional, unchecked by default, and not required to book. Phone sign-ups never receive offers.

Your SMS Rights

  • Opt out anytime: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from all text messages.
  • Get help: Reply HELP to any message for assistance.
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.
  • Message frequency varies based on your booking activity.
  • Consent to receive texts is not required to make a booking or purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, or sold to, any third party, affiliate or lead generator.

We use Twilio only as our service provider to deliver our text messages; it may not use your number for any other purpose.

Payment Information

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or other sensitive payment data on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment processing: stripe.com/privacy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with:

  • Stripe— for payment processing
  • Twilio— only as our service provider for delivering our text messages
  • Our staff and captains— only the information needed to prepare for your visit (name, party size, dates, special requests)

All of the above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent: this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure database access, and limited staff access to guest data.

Data Retention

We retain booking and guest records for operational and legal purposes. If you would like your data deleted, please contact us and we will process your request within 30 days.
